Today I'm going to be giving a quick read on how I began my blog and posted my first post in under 2 hours.

Finding a website

To begin setting up a blog you first need to find a website or app that can help you obtain a domain and help you write and post on it, I highly recommend blogger.com which is the website I am using right now a couple others that could work to make a website would be Wix, Webador and WordPress.

Setting up your new blog

These tips will be for blogger but I have no doubt these mostly will work for other websites as well.

First you need to customize your blog, so what the theme is, the name of your blog, what you'll be writing about and more, it should be a button for that once you first open your new blogger account.

After adding your details and all of your information about your blog you can click on the home button on the left tab, then go to new post.

Thinking of a topic

It will open a very familiar layout similar to Microsoft word OneNote and many more, now you can begin writing but if you haven't figured out what to write about maybe start with something simple like how to posts for example for my second post I did how to overcome your bad habits, and that is great because it explains how to fix something that would be wanted to be fixed and it just helps people in general.

When thinking of something to write you want something that is either helping someone, or is very interesting.

Writing 

To begin writing you want to write a title and don't just write what you are doing, make the title give a very small summary to your post, like mine what I've done is I've used the main words that are involved with my post, How to make money online with a blog. The how to shows I am going to help them, make money shows my help can benefit the reader and online with a blog shows what I am helping them with.

Now do some research on your topic, find information that could be useful and make sure when you are writing you go into detail, don't just say, you can go to this website and make your blog. Instead, go into detail explain the website and how to post and create their blog.

You can add photos and fun facts in your writing to keep the reader interested and it can benefit you alot.

Gaining traction

A great way to gain some views is posting on social media, I chose Instagram, but TikTok, Snapchat or YouTube would work as well. You can talk to friends and word might get around and make sure when talking or posting on social media about your blog include the website to go to so that they can access and view your hard work.

Earning with ads

Earning with ads is a great way to make some extra money, to do this you can go to home page on blogger click earning and create a google adsense account, now they do a check to make sure your blog is ready meaning if you don't have enough views or posts they may not accept you. But not to worry you can always try again once your blog is doing better. 

Once you put your information into adsense and sign up there will be a few more steps that show up to finish it off and then you just wait and this can take a few days to a few weeks depending on when they get to your website, you can add your payment methods once the adsense accepts you.
